Keeping in mind that the program (set within our 3 classrooms), helps on a daily basis approximately 350 hospitalized children and close to 150 on a walk-in basis, the annual impact is over 10,000 children having benefitted from our assistance.
Aprendo contigo has been the catalyst to help children that are unable to attend regular school-because of various health reasons that force them to be either hospitalized or under continuous outpatient medical care- to rejoin their original scholarly activities( and most importantly, their original school) once treatment is complete, thanks to our ability to assist in promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
