To the children
1. Educational Aspect
In addition to the official value given to the program, the child that finds himself under medical care continues with his scholarly activities, activities which are fully recognized by his own parent school. The individualized teaching methods developed allow the student a consolidated and integrated form of learning as well as a standard assimilation of lesson and study plans.
2. Social Aspect
The integrated multi-grade classrooms promote the individual to remain in contact with classmates of different age groups, as a way to stimulate social and emotional maturity appropiate to his age by encouraging learning, sharing and absorption of the experiences of others.
3. Emotional Aspect
The child is able to continue with his daily activities via studies or play, which in itself allows the children/patient-and his parents-to maintain a positive attitude and continue to fight for hope with an eye on the future. |
